A permit is required prior starting construction upon property. The following conditions apply to Commercial Permits:
1. Building Permit Application. (Completed, signed, & notarized)
2. Alternate Key or Parcel Identification Number.
3. Copy of the contract.
4. Commission approved site plan
5. Two (2) floor plans
6. Two (2) sets of detailed construction plans. Must be signed & sealed by a Florida engineer or architect.
7. Florida Energy Calculations
8. Villages Management Approval Letter (If Required)
9. Building and site fire permit, submit an approved set.
10. Sewer and water clearance letter or receipt of payment from Public Works Department.
11. Notice of Commencement. (Recorded)
12. Contractors must supply a copy of their current State Certificate, State Registration, or their appropriate licenses, Certificate of Insurance of General Liability and Workman’s Compensation, and Occupational License, if not currently on file.
13. List of all subcontractors to be used and copies of their appropriate licenses, Certificate of Insurance of General Liability and Workman’s Compensation, and Occupational License, if not currently on file.
