Parks and Recreation

The Parks and Recreation department offers a wide variety of organized recreational programs and activities for adults and youth of all ages. The Town provides several sites and facilities for active or passive recreational activities. Lady Lake has been designated a Tree City USA for 17 years.

Snooky Park

Address: 120 W. Lady Lake Blvd.
A natural oasis in the heart of historic Lady Lake, Snooky Park is named for U.S. Navy veteran Atticus “Snooky” Blanton, who was lost on the USS Arizona in the attack on Pearl Harbor. The park, which opened in 2023, boasts a 2,000-foot walking trail surrounded by a canopy of cedar, live oaks, water oaks and palm trees. It features amenities such as picnic shelters, water fountains and restrooms.

Guava Street Athletic Complex

Address: 221 W. Guava St.
The Guava Street Athletic Complex is the home to the Lady Lake Little League.  The park consists of four baseball fields, one tennis court, two pickelball courts, basketball court and four handball courts.  The baseball fields are available for rent or open play when the Little League is not utilizing them.  The tennis, basketball, handball and pickelball courts are first come first serve.  This park has been the focus of a major revitalization effort by the Town.  Come and enjoy a walk through the park and watch a game or two at the baseball fields.

Pyramid Park

Address: 605 W. Hermosa St.
Pyramid Park is the entry level destination to our park system.  Children up to the age of 12 are welcome to come and play on multiple play structures.  The playground was originally sponsored by the Kiwanis and has been a popular destination for birthday parties and relaxing afternoons.

Heritage Park

Address: 135 S Old Dixie Highway
Heritage Park is a popular destination for those wishing to relax or go for a leisurely stroll.  This popular wedding spot is home to one of the most beautiful Live Oak Trees in the area.  Located close to Veterans Park, it is the perfect place to go for a walk or read a book.

Rolling Acres Sports Complex

Address: 260 Rolling Acres Road
The Rolling Acres Sports Complex is home to the Lady Lake Soccer
Association, the Lady Lake Dog Park Association, the Lady Lake Driving Range and the Lady Lake Parks and Recreation Office and Maintenance Building. The park consists of three soccer fields, dog park, softball field and a driving range.  If you are looking to rent a field for the day or just looking to drive a few golf balls, we believe that you will enjoy these facilities.

Greater Lady Lake Dog Park

Address: 200 Rolling Acres Road
The Lady Lake Dog Park (membership application) is located at the back of the Rolling Acres Sports Complex. This facility is open 365 days per year from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. The park has two different sections to ensure that larger and smaller dogs are separated. Chairs are provided under two canopies to give you the perfect view of your pooch while he interacts with his new friends.

Veterans Park

Address: 106 US-27/US-441
Veterans Park is the oldest park in Lady Lake.  The park houses a Log Cabin which was constructed by the W.P.A. in the 1930s.  The cabin is now home to the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to the efforts of the Kiwanis, the park also houses the original Lady Lake Train Depot and several train cars which is now home to the Lady Lake Historical Society.  This park is very well known for the thousands of Christmas lights which are turned on every year for the holidays.

Parks and Recreation Director Mike Burske

Parks and Recreation Director Mike BurskeMike is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He has resided in the Lady Lake area since 2003. He became the Parks and Recreation Director for the Town in 2004. He is responsible for the operation of the Town's park system and serves as the liaison between the Town and many civic organizations, programming events, and overseeing the maintenance for the parks.

Mr. Burske holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leisure Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has previously worked for the Carolina Yacht Club, the U.S. Navy Moral, Welfare and Recreation Program and the City of Fruitland Park.
