Public Works Director Eagle outlined the two projects he thought would be most beneficial to the Town.

1.      Continuation of sidewalk improvements to Morningside Avenue and Longview Avenue. The project would connect to existing sidewalks and continue their extension around the neighborhood. The sidewalk improvements would include drainage modifications and roadway repairs, including signage and striping

2.      Replacement of existing pumps and accessories that have exceeded their lifespan at lift station 12

Mr. Eagle also mentioned two sidewalk improvement projects that could be funded with any leftover dollars.

Commissioner Kussard made a motion for the town to apply for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) of up to Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars to be utilized in the Neighborhood Revitalization category; Commissioner Hannan seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
