Summary
A Town resident has requested that the Town look into creating an ordinance that allows patrons’ dogs in designated outdoor portions of public food service establishments. FSS 509.233 allows municipalities the authority to do this as long as certain general requirements are in the ordinance and enforced by the Town. The individual restaurants would have to apply and be approved for a permit through the Town.
