Approval to provide 30 months’ written notice of termination to the City of Fruitland Park for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Capacity Reservation and Bulk Treatment Agreement dated September 8, 2016.

Summary

Town staff has received notice from the City of Fruitland Park’s attorney regarding concerns with billing and language in the agreement. Line 20 of the executed agreement states that the either party may terminate the agreement without cause by providing 30 months’ written notice to the other party. Town staff supports termination of the agreement.
