Consideration of Compensation Study Recommendations

Recommend motion for one or more of the following options:

  1. Pay general employees a minimum of $15.00 per hour — Cost: $79,768.
  2. Class Date Parity (Police Only) — Cost: $60,815
  3. General employees-Two Tier — Cost: $40,497
  4. Modified version-Commission’s choice
  5. No changes to existing pay ranges


The Commission has a copy of the Compensation Study findings as presented by Evergreen Solutions, LLC at the July 20th, 2020 Commission meeting. The study was tabled at that time. At the August 3rd, 2020 meeting the Commission directed the Town Manager to put this on the agenda for a vote.

Staff has outlined one or more options resulting from this study or that were mentioned at the meeting. Staff is seeking direction, implementation date,  and will move forward to implement.
