Consideration of the 2021 Proposed Pay Adjustments

Approval of Tier Two at the annual cost of $28,317.35 effective October 1, 2020.


At the August 17th meeting, Commission requested that staff bring back recommendations. Attached is a break down of Tier Two and how the Tier Two will affect the employees. This option is the most competitive with the market. Staff also included a second option which is to bring everyone up to a $15.00 minimum. The fiscal impact is greater. Staff recommends Tier Two at the annual cost of $28,317.35.

1. Tier Two Annual Cost: $28,317.35

2. Pay general employees a minimum of $15.00 per hour — Annual Cost: $78,020.80
