Staff recommends approval of the newly drafted Town of Lady Lake Public Records Policy and Procedures.

Summary

During a recent department heads meeting, the Finance Director noted that the Town was lacking in written policies in some areas; with one of them being a public records policy. The resulting Public Records Policy and Procedures was drafted by the Clerk’s Office after reviewing several policies adopted by other Florida municipalities and utilizing suggestions by various legal sites on Florida public records.
