At the direction of this Commission, the Parks and Recreation Director put the replacement and repair of the Train Depot-Bath House Roof and Rot Repair out to bid. The only bid received totaled $52,841.00 and was submitted by Lewis Walker Roofing, Inc; the bid was significantly higher than expected. As we all know this is the “new normal” as it relates to the burgeoning costs of supplies and is made worse by the fact that government projects receive few to no bids.
