The Parks and Recreation Department and the Lady Lake Area Chamber of Commerce would like to take over the operations of the Lady Lake Farmers Market. Currently, the Tuesday Market is being operated by Peggy Sweet and the Lady Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. We have decided that it would be best for the event to be run directly by Parks and Recreation and the Lady Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Revenue would still go to benefit the Chamber as it has for around 14 years. We would close the current Market on August 16^th and re-open in February. We want to re-brand the Market and want separation from the current venture. The loss of our primary parking due to construction at Snooky Park is a huge factor in the gap in re-opening.
