Summary
Ordinance 2019-23 states that any retired police officer who is retired under the Police Officers’ Retirement Trust Fund system and is subsequently reemployed is ineligible to participate in the system and must discontinue receipt of benefits during any subsequent full-time employment period. Ordinance 2023-11 states that any retiree, including retirees currently employed by the Town, can be reemployed by the Town and still receive retirement benefits.
