Communications Department
The Communications Department is responsible for creating and implementing a communications strategy for the town, developing and maintaining brand standards across all platforms, and increasing community engagement by working with the public and the media, creating content, and managing social media and the town website.
Communications Director Elisha Pappacoda
Elisha Pappacoda has nearly two decades of combined news media and communications experience. She is skilled in public relations, social media management, brand development and reputation management, having served in both county and municipal government.
Elisha is a multi-award winning former journalist and public relations professional. She was named Florida Public Relations Association Chapter President of the Year in 2021. She has several FEMA certifications in crisis communications.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from Fordham University in Manhattan.
