The Human Resources Department provides employment and risk management functions for the Town. Their goal is to recruit, develop, and retain a high performing and diverse workforce. This is accomplished by ensuring a healthy, safe, and productive work environment for employees that maximizes individual and organizational potential.
Current Employment Opportunities
The Town of Lady Lake is currently accepting applications for the open positions listed below. Any person possessing the qualifications listed in the provided vacancy announcements may submit an application online, via email, by regular mail or in person at Town Hall.
Responsible work in the intake and processing of growth management applications, development review, comprehensive planning related activities including preparing staff recommendations, preparing reports and presentations for public hearing. Work also includes current planning, annexation review, policy interpretation, together with zoning administration.
Skilled manual labor position with supervisory duties.
Under the daily supervision of the Lead Mechanic, the employee performs repair and reconditioning of automotive equipment such as automobiles, trucks, 2 cycle engines, and other specialized gasoline or diesel-powered equipment. Inspects transmissions, universal joints, and differentials.
The Police Officer performs general duty police work including protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances.
The Reserve Police Officer performs general duty police work including protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances. Duty includes supplemental patrol, investigations, special events, and special details.
Human Resources Director Tamika DeLee
Tamika DeLee has been employed with the Town of Lady Lake for over nine years in our Human Resources Department. She has a Master's Degree in Public Administration and has acquired certification as a Public Human Resources Professional (PHRP) via the Florida Public Human Resources Association (FPHRA).
