Message from the Chief

Message from Interim Chief Tempesta

On behalf of the men and women of the Lady Lake Police Department, I thank you for your interest in our agency.

Our department is a full-service law enforcement agency committed to working with our community and the Town government to promote and maintain a small hometown atmosphere while providing effective, modern police services.

We recognize that community engagement, creative problem solving, and effective partnerships hold the key to enduring improvements in public safety and the quality of life in a community. It is our goal to provide the highest standard of public service to our residents, businesses, and visitors.

We will work within our community to promote safety and security, but we need your help. Remember, one of the most important things that you can do is to call 911 to report a crime or a suspicious incident. You are not bothering us; you are not inconveniencing us, it is what we are here for. One of the best defenses against crime is a nosy neighbor.

It is both a privilege and an honor to serve the Town of Lady Lake as Interim Chief of Police. If I can help you or if you have comments or criticisms, please feel free to contact me.

We welcome your comments, ideas, and suggestions and invite you to become involved in Lady Lake’s success.
