Conceptual presentation for 912 Linden PUD-a proposed mixed-use development for a luxury apartment complex and garage condominium development on S. US Hwy 27/441; and a proposal for a park trail on property owned by the Town off Old Dixie Hwy.
Commissioners for Wards 2 & 4 will be sworn in. Under Consent, minutes and approval of a change order for audio/video systems will be considered. Consideration to add video capability to systems for the Commission Chamber and appointment of two members to the Planning & Zoning Board will be considered under New Business. Resolutions 2020-111 regarding a Special Permit Use for an electronic message board sign, and Resolution 2020-115 permitting the PACE Program to operate for commercial projects in Lady Lake will be considered under Town Attorney’s Report.
Under Consent, the Commission will consider approval of the minutes of the April 1, 2019 Commission meeting, as well as approval of a stipulation agreement regarding property at 258 Clay Avenue.
Under new business, the Commission will consider a Sewer Utility Agreement and sewer connection conversion for Water Oak County Club Estates.
Members will consider approval of the minutes of the February 13, 2019 meeting. Under new business, members will consider making recommendations to the Town Commission for investing in installing a discus platform at the Rolling Acres Sports Complex and hosting a father-daughter dance at the Lady Lake Library. Landscaping waiver requests for an outparcel on the Lady Lake Commons site will also be considered.
The Library Director will report on the statistics, as well as the activities that have occurred at the library since the March meeting. She will also will report on upcoming events.
The Mayor will proclaim April as Water Conservation Month in Lady Lake and, along with Maryann Krisovitch, Water Resource Coordinator, will present awards to Villages Elementary School Students that were picked as winners of the Water Conservation poster contest sponsored by the Town and Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA).
Under consent, the Commission will consider approval of the minutes of the March 18, 2019 Commission meetings, as well as approval of hosting Easter Sunrise Services by New Song Community Church at Log Cabin Park.
Under new business, the Commission will consider reclassifying two Police Captain positions and creating a part-time Library Assistant position.
The members will consider approval of the January 23, 2019 meeting minutes and whether to transmit Ordinance 2019-01 to the Commission for approval. This ordinance is a small-scale future land use map amendment request regarding a parcel on Skyline Drive.
The members will consider the selection of a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for the next year, as well as approval of the January 8, 2019 meeting minutes. Growth Management staff will provide an update on new businesses and projects underway in Lady Lake.
