Chet Ross of Shumacker, Johnston and Ross will present the audit report for fiscal year ending September 30, 2019 for acceptance by the Commission. The Commission will also acknowledge the receipt of the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2018..
Under Consent, Commissioners will consider approval of the minutes of the April 20, 2020 Commission meetings and of amending the Utility Design by FDOT Consultant Agreement with FDOT and Metric Engineering. Under New Business, Commissioners will hear a presentation by Stantec regarding the Utility Rate Study and will consider the reappointment of a member to the Disciplinary Arbitration Panel.
Ordinance 2018-42 — An ordinance annexing two lots located within Orange Blossom Gardens, referenced by Alternate Key Numbers 1482429 and 1482569; owned by Villagers for Veterans, Inc. and Robert and Jeanine Bauman.
Commissioners Tony Holden and Paul Hannan will be sworn in for their new terms of office. Commissioners at this meeting will consider a new major site plan for Teague Plaza, and second and final readings of the Police Pension Share Plan and the Disciplinary Arbitration Panel. They will also hear the first reading of a special exception use permit for a convenience store with fuel operations and they will consider a new appointment to the Library Advisory Board.
The November 13, 2018 5:30 p.m. Planning and Zoning meeting will concern a proposed ordinance to adopt corrections, updates, and modifications to the Capital Improvement Schedule. Members will also hear from staff regarding a proposed variance resolution.
The November 1, 2018 5:45 p.m. Local Planning Agency meeting will concern a proposed ordinance to amend the Lady Lake Future Land Use Comprehensive Plan for two lots located in the Orange Blossom Gardens community.
Commissioners at the November 1, 2018 6 p.m. meeting will hear staff presentations regarding an amended contract with the Police Benevolent Association, an ordinance regarding the Police Pension Share Plan, and a request to extend the hours of operation for the Farmer’s Market.
An ordinance establishing a Citizens’ Review Board (CRB) to adjudicate grievances in lieu of an arbitrator previously holding this authority, setting for the criteria for board membership, establishing hearing procedures, repealing all conflicting provisions, providing for severability, and establishing an effective date.
The Planning and Zoning Board will consider applications for annexation, future land use comprehensive plan amendment, and rezoning for property in Orange Blossom Gardens.
The October 1, 2018 6 p.m. meeting is the first Commission meeting of the new fiscal year. Several lease agreements will be considered for renewal. The Green Key Village subdivision, phase 3 final plat plan will be considered and the Commission will consider a revision to the Lake County DUI Task Force Memorandum of Understanding.
