Commission Meeting

The regular meeting of the Lady Lake Town Commission was held in the Commission Chambers at Lady Lake Town Hall, 409 Fennell Blvd., Lady Lake, Florida with Mayor Jim Richards presiding. The meeting convened at 5 p.m.

C. Public Comment

Mayor Richards asked if anyone had any comments. There were no comments.

D. New Business

1. Architectural Detailed Elevations Conceptual Presentation for Miller’s Ale House on Lady Lake Commons Outparcel A ― Proposing a Sit-down Restaurant on Approximately 2.48 Acres Along Hwy 27/441 at the Southeast Corner of the Intersection of Fennell Blvd. and Highway 27/441, to be Addressed as 635 N. Highway 27/441, Identified by Alternate Key Number 3305451 (Thad Carroll)

Growth Management Director Thad Carroll presented the background summary for this agenda item (on file in the Clerk’s Office). He stated Mr. Martin Dellebovi of the Benchmark Group is present if there are any questions.

Commissioner Hannan asked if the setback for Miller’s Ale House is the same as Texas Roadhouse.

Mr. Carroll replied that this restaurant will be set back much further from the highway than the Texas Roadhouse as there will be parking spaces both in front of Miller’s Ale House, as well as behind it along the highway.

Commissioner Kussard, Commissioner Holden and Mayor Richards stated they were in favor of this proposal.

Mayor Richards stated it will be a good addition to Lady Lake.

By a 4 to 0 consensus, the Commissioners approved the Architectural Detailed Elevations Conceptual proposal for Miller’s Ale House on Lady Lake Commons Outparcel A as presented.
